High tide intensified,
the stone tower remains
braced against the onslaught
of a tremendous tempest.

In the darkness,
battered by the raging sea,
it stands
gracefully offering light
to all in need.

I often think great sporitual leaders are like lighthouses, often they are there to warn lost ships away, whereas throwing oneself at their feet is to invite disaster .....
I think i will be my own lighthouse !

I've been incommunicado here, letting my non-verbal side do the talking for a little while. I took up the 31-day Inktober challenge this...
