Prompt inspired by: Blogger Andrea Dawn Olsen at:

Andrea Dawn's eye for beauty never ceases to amaze me. There is a softness to her work in which I find comfort and contentment (something that I have much needed as of late). More than once I have gone to her blogs with the intention to simply "check in" and have found myself lost in a photograph touched up ever so slightly to make it a masterpiece. Great grace shines through the snapshots of this gentle woman. Give yourself the gift of visiting her blogs and perhaps you too will find a moment or two of peace.
My take on this week's prompt:
In a desolate field
naked and alone
for the sun to warm her
The hope of rebirth in the Spring
Holding onto promises
Fills my heart with JOY
Onward and upward
the endless reaching
to rise up
Onward and upward indeed! Thanks for visiting and for sharing Tammy! :)
Wonderful... absolutely wonderful. I love the vision of bursting forth into rebirth and the use of enjambment... especially with "the endless reaching/thirst satisfied". Really well done. Thanks for joining in!
I like the prompt but just checking in I have another to do first. I'm going to quit prompts mostly and just start writing again. This last year has been image provoked so experimenting with inner thoughts sitting in a flower meadow might be more enjoyable too. Lol! Have a good week!
I always felt prompts were merely a tool to jump start finding our own inspiration - to use as a tool to keep limber. I highly recommend a meadow full of flowers (although right now our fields are frozen tundra). Have fun with those inner thoughts... I can only imagine the colors yours have! :)
