National Poetry Month - April 1, 2020

Happy National Poetry Month 2020! I've been focusing more on ink and art since the pandemic began and I'm thinking it is because the words are so hard. Now that it is officially National Poetry Month, it's time to let the words (and possibly tears) tumble out. Metaphor can be very therapeutic. ;)

I'm thinking I'll skip the many poetry prompts that are out there and go with my own (at least for now). My intention is to pick a color a day for inspiration... today I chose steel gray and went for the haiku:

Stay safe, be well and be kind to yourself and others...
