The Goddess Project: Mielikki

I was first introduced to the Finnish goddess of the forest years ago when my brother and I were creating characters in AD&D. Mielikki was my cleric's chosen deity. I had to smile when her name came up in my project search these many years later. Her symbols include the bear (which she is credited with creating), grain, and woodland plants. She protects winter resources by ensuring a full pantry and favorable hunting.
